Enjoi
enjoi at Skatestore
enjoi was founded in 2000 by Marc Johnson, with support from skate legend Rodney Mullen. Both had just left the notorious A-Team, a team Johnson later described as "completely fabricated based on marketing". With enjoi, they wanted to build the exact opposite: a brand driven by friendship and enjoyment rather than image.
That sense of fun became the core of enjoi's identity. With its signature panda logo and ads full of absurdist humour, self-deprecation and in-jokes, enjoi pushed back against the overblown seriousness hanging over the skate industry at the time. The original team, including Jerry Hsu, Louie Barletta and Dave Mayhew, built that mentality into one of the most beloved brands of the 2000s, reaching cult status through videos like "Bag of Suck".
When distributor Dwindle collapsed in 2023, enjoi came to an end in its original form. In early 2026, Louie Barletta, the brand's face for decades, brought enjoi back to life as a sister brand under his own label, Jacuzzi Unlimited: same panda, same easygoing energy, with a new generation of skaters carrying the torch.
