Size Guide for Complete Skateboards

Kids: Smaller boards accommodate small feet better. A board that is too wide is less manoeuvrable and too heavy to really get airborne during tricks. We recommend a complete skateboard that is 7.5 inches or smaller.

Teenagers: As height and shoe size increase, the board can become wider and longer. The general rule of thumb is that larger shoe sizes are more comfortable on a wider deck. The standard boardwidth of 7.75 to 8.25 inches is a good fit for the average teenager.

Adults: We recommend an 8.0-inch board or wider for larger and/or older beginners, to ensure stability and comfort.

Graphic Artwork:
Just as Mike McGill was perfecting the 540 McTwist in the summer of 1984 at Swedish summer camp, V.C.J. was working on a new deck graphic for him. Since the "Skull & Bones" theme was proving to be popular, that was the direction chosen for McGill's new deck. Mike's input was to add the snake and lightning bolts since there is an abundance of both in his home state of Florida. McGill's Skull & Snake is truly a classic skateboard icon.
